POLITICAL
INVOLVEMENT COMMITTEE (PIC)
This Committee plans, surveys and directs the coordination of
local, state, and national political activity. Members of the
committee interview and screen candidates for political endorsement
by the Association. Members identify, recruit and train political
action liaisons at school sites. The establishment of a local,
state, and national political action network on educational and
political issues is one of the primary fund raising projects for
teachers. Membership on the committee is open to all interested
SDEA members.
