RECOGNITION
COMMITTEE
The
Recognition Committee coordinates the process for recognizing
SDEA member's contributions to the education profession and to
their professional organization, SDEA/CTA/NEA. The committee is
responsible for setting up timelines for appropriate recognition,
sending out announcements of pending awards, screening nominees,
and making recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Recognition
Committee oversees the SDEA Scholarship Fund, which provides several
scholarships to SDEA members and their families. The Recognition
Committee plans and implements a calendar of social events for
SDEA members and their families. The committee is open to all
members.
