Physical Threat or Assault and Battery - Section 11.10

You are required to immediately report all threats of physical harm or cases of assault and/or battery. The District is required to suspend, expel or otherwise discipline students who have caused, attempted to cause or threatened physical injury to a unit member in accordance with the District Zero Tolerance policy. The District must inform you of the action taken.

Pupil Transportation - Section 11.11

No classroom unit member can be required to transport a student in a privately owned vehicle. The principal must approve any use of a privately owned vehicle to transport a student. District liability insurance covers such use of a private vehicle but only after your insurance which is the primary carrier.

Site Dress Code - Section 11.12

This section deals with unit member dress codes, not student dress codes. Only the site shared decision-making team can develop such codes. Unit
members must hold a secret ballot vote with at least 2/3 approval prior to implementation. Such codes must be flexible and allow for individual judgment.
