1) What makes an effective Ar/Cr?
A. An effective Ar/Cr has broad knowledge of programs and services
of the local, state, and national associations.
1. Gets and uses up-to-date information.
2. Knows how to obtain assistance and information from the Association.
B. An effective Ar/Cr is dedicated.
1. Cares about the working conditions of unit members.
2. Is willing to give the time needed to do the job.
3. Does more than just "sign 'em up". An effective Ar/Cr stays
constantly involved with unit members.
4. Is always able to help with problems and listen to concerns.
5. Is willing to put up with flack.
C. An effective Ar/Cr believes in the Association.
1. Feels the organization is effective.
2. Is enthusiastic.
3. Is an advocate for the Association.
D. An effective Ar/Cr maintains good rapport with the visiting
teachers.

2. Treats members importantly.
3. Is able to deal with the site/program administration.
