It’s hard to believe, but Monday, February 1st, 2016, marks the 20th anniversary of the start of the 1996 strike by SDTA(now SDEA)! The brave educators who went out on strike were fighting for “Rights, Respect, and a Raise”. You can read more about the strike in January’s issue of The Advocate.
