At this week’s Rep Council, SDEA member representatives from across our union heard from local union baristas about their fight and voted unanimously to support their boycott.
Starbucks baristas have been fighting for nearly five whole years for a fair union contract that would cost Starbucks less than one day of sales. It’s time to impact those sales and force them to listen!
Starbucks flagrant disregard for labor law isn’t just an attack on their own workers. It’s an attack on all working people When union baristas – backed by a coalition of allies – prove that we can take on the biggest bosses and win despite rampant union busting, it will put all employers on notice about the power of working people standing up together.
